John Mayer is a complacent, lazy, punk.

John Mayer's "Waiting On the World To Change" makes me physically nauseous. Are people really buying this bullshit as an anthem for our generation?

Not to mention that the idea is antithetical to what an entertainer should be. Entertainers were meant to inspire and motivate, not tell people that it's OK to settle for mediocrity, to stagnate and to blame somebody else.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

Last night I dreamt that Gandhi switched it up a bit for John: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world, dumbass and then (and this is the weird part) he took off his towel, twirled it around a few times, and bitch-whipped the crap out of Mr. Mayer until he cried like a three year old little girl (I guess Mayer was the one thing that could finally enrage Gandhi enough to toss pacifism out the window).

What happened to passion? What happened to the idea of changing the world? Disillusionment is crippling people, but giving up is not an option.

Shame on you, John Mayer. A pox on you and your household (sorry, John Mayer's mom... guilty by association's a bitch, huh?).
