Add this to my long list of gripes about Adobe Encore (currently using CS4).
Just opened a project that had been burning fine. Changed nothing. Now after I click “build,” Encore gives me an error of “Trims and/or chapters adjusted.”
Most solutions found via the web suggest this problem arises after transcoding, however, my video and audio is all MPEG-DVD generated out of Premiere (no transcoding occurs in Encore).
Even if you are using MPEG-DVD from Premiere you are still transcoding the footage. The only differance is that you are doing it in Premiere and not Encore. Unless your trimming is off then the problem lies in the GOP. For more info on this have a look at
Hope this helps :)
Right, but there doesn't seem to be any reason for Premiere-transcoded footage that was previously working in Encore to "suddenly" stop working in Encore due to this error. The footage is transcoded once in Premiere, and should never change in the project via Encore (so why the sudden error?).
Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
